Natural sea shells forming a round 3D heart

More about my process of painting these shells is as follows:
- They were collected on the beaches of Zeeland in the Netherlands. The exception are St Jacob scallops, which I usually buy in a fish shop.
- Later they were cleaned and ozonated to remove any unwanted odor.
- Then they were covered with a layer of gesso primer.
- Once the primer had dried, they were ready to be painted using high quality acrylic paints, often requiring 2-4 coats.
- The acrylic layers were covered with metallic wax paste.
- Finally, they were varnished to protect the colors for many decades.

Luminous hills IV
€ 150,00Original painting with dimensions of 20 × 20 cm and an additional depth of 4 cm. The painting is framed in a thick, custom-made wooden (oak) frame. Size with the frame: W 24.7 x L 24.7 cm x D 5.2 cm.
Painted with high-quality acrylic paint and metallic waxes. The 3D canvas is stretched and ready to hang. Signed at the back.
The painting is protected with satin varnish. Certificate of authenticity included.
