1. RETURNS
Returns due to the buyer’s change of mind are not accepted. I offer a free consultation on
choosing art for Your interior. When in doubt please consult me before purchasing my art. As
an interior designer and artist and feng shui consultant – I can advise on choosing the right
art for Your interiors so that it looks good and makes You happy. Just describe to me Your
expectations and send a photo or two via contact form.
Due to the sensitive nature of artwork such as canvases and its transportation, I don’t accept
returns apart from exceptions where the fault is on my side e.g. You received the wrong item.
I don’t sell damaged items; each piece is double checked before handed over to the
customer or shipping company, thus if the item is damaged it is because of the wrong
handling by a third party. In such a case please contact me immediately.
Artwork made on commission due to its personal and individual meaning to one particular
customer cannot be returned. The process of making custom made artwork is shown to the
customer so that a few adjustments can be made while the piece is still in progress.
2. DIGITAL PHOTOS VS REALITY
I do my best to represent the colour and texture of the actual products as much as
possible, but please be aware that slight differences in colours may occur depending on the
monitor of the device you are using. I don’t enhance photos nor apply any filters. Much
noticeable differences will appear if the artwork is seen in reality during daytime and
nighttime, in natural light or in artificial light, on a sunny day or on a rainy day. In reality the
original artwork looks even better and gives an ‘emotional impact’ that no photo can provide.
3. ARTIST’S RIGHTS
The sale of artworks to Customers does not imply the transfer of the Artist’s intellectual
property rights to the Customer. The Customer is prohibited in particular from using any work
by the Artist in the context of editions, publications, monographs, lithographs, serigraphs,
offset printing and all other means, technical or not, aimed at reproducing and/or adapting
the Artist’s works.
4. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Shipping and packing charges will vary depending on the type, size, weight and destination
of the artwork. If You arrange the shipping company by Yourself, please check the shipping
method, schedule and shipping cost Yourself and let me know the details. I’m not
responsible for any troubles, delays, non-delivery, etc. during the delivery of artworks by the
delivery company arranged by the Customer. All artworks must be insured by the shipping
company. If the Customer refuses the insurance if any damages occur during the shipping
(order reception accident, mail accident, damage, etc.), I will not bear any costs required for
exchange or return, and other incidental costs.
All paintings are shipped from the Netherlands via courier with tracking number and
insurance. Tracking number will be emailed to you once the painting is ready to ship. The
buyer pays for the shipping costs.
I invite you to pick up the paintings in person directly at my studio in Oostkapelle in the
Netherlands. The detailed pickup date will be agreed via email.
Please note that for shipments outside of Europe the processing time for the order is at least
10 business days to allow for export papers to be filed and approved. When delivering
outside the European Union, a customs fee may be charged. This fee is the responsibility of
the buyer.
The cost of shipping will be added on at checkout.
Note: Shipments to outside Europe may be subject to additional shipping charges. I will
invoice you separately if additional charges are required.
Important: The Customer is responsible for providing the correct delivery address. I do not
accept returns if the shipment did not arrive due to an incorrect delivery address provided by
the Customer. I do not accept returns if the Customer rejected and did not collect the parcel
delivered by the courier.
5. PRICING
The prices of the artworks are subject to changes by the Artist.

These Terms may be revised (changed, added, deleted, supplemented), so please check the
latest contents.
7. COOPERATION
I am happy when galleries and boutiques are interested in my art and want to put it up for
sale. Paintings that can be viewed live in stationary galleries or boutiques are moved to the
“temporarily unavailable” category on my website.

For bloggers who want to post photos of my work, they can do so after asking my
permission. When posting photos of my works, please always attribute them to the source
website where they come from (www.monikatargiel.eu) and the author’s name.
