Hello! I’m Monika Andriesse-Targiel, a visual artist with a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts, trained both in Poland and Italy. Alongside my art, I cherish life as a mother and wife, together with my small family in Oostkapelle, Zeeland.
My work explores the space between realism and abstraction, soft and rough textures, intuition and technical skill—where painting becomes not just visual, but also emotional and healing. My interest in art is intentionally wide. I never want to limit myself to one technique or theme. The creativity I experience within feels undefined—fluid, surprising, and full of joy.
