Painting on a XXL Oyster Shell in a Box Frame
€ 109,00A striking and rare piece featuring a natural oyster shell personally collected in Zeeland. The shell was carefully cleaned, prepared, and primed before being hand-painted. A textured white background was then created on board to complement the organic form of the shell. The entire piece has been sealed with protective varnish for durability and finish.
The shell was mounted onto the prepared surface using professional construction adhesive and presented in a deep box frame.
This artwork can be displayed either hanging on the wall or standing independently on a table or shelf.
Dimensions: 26.8 × 26.8 cm | depth: 6 cm
The shell features beautiful tones of turquoise and blue, with touches of gold on the outer surface. It is fully painted and sealed.

No. 3 Six double slices of wood hanging on a branch “Winter Tale” Christmass wall decoration
€ 120,00Winter/ Christmass wall decoration containing 6 large and medium slices of wood suspended on a real branch. The wood slices are decorated on both sides using the decoupage technique using premium rice paper. The set includes a rustic wooden branch.
Charming, mystical illustrations on rice paper glued on wood slices with a diameter of 8-10 cm – made in the decoupage technique. I am not the author of these illustrations. However, I am the originator and creator of the entire decoration.
Surprise ! On the reverse side I also added an interesting text with positive words in Dutch that will make the Christmass season feel special to your children. Since I created this decoration for children and dreamy adults, I wanted to add words on the back that would have a positive impact at the atmosphere at home.
The edges are decorated with gold leafs.
The atmosphere of this collection of decorations is vintage-rustic (deliberately aged).
Created with children in mind, the installation will be an original decoration for a child. But it may also be interesting for an adult dreamer who still likes the mystical world of fairy tales…

WHY IS IT WORTH INVESTING IN ART AND CRAFTS?
When it comes to raising children, it’s a good idea to choose arts and crafts created by authentic artists and craftsmen to decorate your home. Mass-produced objects and cheap imitations from chain stores teach children to consume quickly and cheaply, children lose their innate imagination and reliance on their manual skills in creating useful objects or creatively solving problems in their adult life. Children observe and copy. They absorb everything. Show them a handmade piece of art or decoration and they will want to know how it was made and eventually they will try to create something themselves and have fun doing it.
Thanks to contact with art and craft, children, instead of passively looking at monitors, will have broadened interests, will appreciate human work, will practice concentration and focus, and will also increase their self-esteem by doing something beautiful on their own. Because when children see in various works of artists at home or outside, naturally curious children will want to copy a painting or try to make something with their own hands, whether it be painting a dog, drawing a garden, gluing a dream house from scraps of paper, there are many possibilities for creativity in visual arts, and the only limitation is human imagination.

Nr. 1 Vijf plakjes hout hangend aan een tak “Fairy Tale” wanddecoratie
€ 120,00“Fairy Tale” – wanddecoratie met 5 grote plakjes hout opgehangen aan een echte tak.
De houtplakken zijn aan beide zijden gedecoreerd in de decoupage-techniek met behulp van premium rijstpapier.
De set bestaat uit een rustieke houten tak.
Charmante, mystieke illustraties op rijstpapier gelijmd op houten schijfjes met een diameter van 10-11 cm – gemaakt in decoupagetechniek.
Ik ben niet de auteur van deze illustraties.
Ik ben echter de bedenker en maker van de hele decoratie.
Verrassen!
Aan de achterkant heb ik ook een interessante tekst toegevoegd met positieve woorden in het Nederlands die het gevoel van eigenwaarde en het geloof zullen vergroten.
Omdat ik deze decoratie heb gemaakt voor kinderen en dromerige volwassenen, wilde ik woorden op de achterkant toevoegen die een positieve invloed zouden hebben op hun mindset.
De randen zijn versierd met bladgoud.
De sfeer van deze collectie decoraties is vintage-rustiek (bewust verouderd).
De installatie is gemaakt met kinderen in gedachten en zal een originele decoratie zijn voor een kinderkamer.
Maar het kan ook interessant zijn voor een volwassen dromer die nog steeds van de mystieke wereld van sprookjes houdt…
LET OP: Hoewel ik probeer foto’s in verschillende lichtbronnen op te nemen, kunnen de kleuren zoals je ze thuis bekijkt enigszins afwijken van de productafbeeldingen die ik heb gemaakt vanwege variaties in de resolutie van het computerscherm.
WAAROM IS HET DE MOEITE WAARD OM TE INVESTEREN IN KUNST EN AMBACHTEN?
Als het gaat om het opvoeden van kinderen, is het een goed idee om kunst en ambachten te kiezen die zijn gemaakt door authentieke kunstenaars en ambachtslieden om je huis te versieren.
Massaal geproduceerde objecten en goedkope imitaties van winkelketens leren kinderen snel en goedkoop te consumeren, kinderen verliezen hun aangeboren verbeeldingskracht en vertrouwen op hun handvaardigheden bij het maken van nuttige objecten of het creatief oplossen van problemen in hun volwassen leven.
Kinderen observeren en kopiëren.
Ze nemen alles in zich op.
Laat ze een handgemaakt kunstwerk of decoratie zien en ze zullen willen weten hoe het is gemaakt en uiteindelijk zullen ze proberen zelf iets te maken en er plezier aan beleven.
Dankzij contact met kunst en ambacht zullen kinderen, in plaats van passief naar beeldschermen te kijken, bredere interesses hebben, menselijk werk waarderen, concentratie en focus oefenen en ook hun gevoel van eigenwaarde vergroten door zelf iets moois te doen.
Want als kinderen thuis of buiten in verschillende werken van kunstenaars zien, zullen natuurlijk nieuwsgierige kinderen een schilderij willen kopiëren of iets met hun eigen handen willen maken, of het nu gaat om het schilderen van een hond, het tekenen van een tuin, het lijmen van een droomhuis van stukjes papier, er zijn veel mogelijkheden voor creativiteit in de beeldende kunst, En de enige beperking is de menselijke verbeelding.
