Painting on a XXL Oyster Shell in a Box Frame

A striking and rare piece featuring a natural oyster shell personally collected in Zeeland. The shell was carefully cleaned, prepared, and primed before being hand-painted. A textured white background was then created on board to complement the organic form of the shell. The entire piece has been sealed with protective varnish for durability and finish.

The shell was mounted onto the prepared surface using professional construction adhesive and presented in a deep box frame.

This artwork can be displayed either hanging on the wall or standing independently on a table or shelf.

The shell features beautiful tones of turquoise and blue, with touches of gold on the outer surface. It is fully painted and sealed.
