Born of Earth and Light is a large-scale original painting that explores the meeting point between material presence and subtle luminosity. The surface is built up through an intricate structural foundation using four different texture pastes, creating a richly varied, tactile landscape.
Multiple layers of acrylic paint are applied to achieve depth and quiet complexity, allowing light and shadow to interact across the surface. I have consciously chosen to no longer place my signature on the front of my paintings. Once a work enters a new home, it becomes part of the collector’s personal space, their story, and their interpretation. By keeping the signature discreetly on the back, the artwork is free to speak on its own—allowing for an intimate and uninterrupted connection between the piece and its viewer.
