Sea shell Sculpture/Painting

This artwork is a unique fusion of painting and sculpture, featuring a natural Zeeland oyster shell gilded with gold leaf and a naturally formed freshwater pearl.

Created on a handcrafted 3D wooden panel, the piece is built up through multiple layers of sculptural fabric, texture paste, gesso, and acrylic paint, resulting in a richly textured surface with depth and character. The oyster shell is permanently embedded in crystal-clear resin, becoming an integral part of the composition while preserving its natural beauty.

The artwork is finished with a protective archival varnish and is ready to hang with a hanging wire installed on the back. It is hand-signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
