Oysters in Shimmering Waters

This collection is inspired by the quiet beauty of the Zeeland coast. Each piece is a handmade wall artwork measuring 25 x 25 cm, created with recycled oyster shells, layered textures, and a glossy resin finish.

The oyster shells emerge from sculpted surfaces like treasures revealed by the tide. Soft reflections in the resin catch the light throughout the day, bringing a sense of movement and calm to the artwork.

Part painting and part sculpture, each piece is individually crafted by hand using mixed media techniques. The natural oyster shells are carefully selected and incorporated into the composition, making every artwork unique.

These compact artworks are ideal for smaller spaces such as hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, or cosy corners that could use a touch of the sea.

A Piece of the Coast

Living by the sea in Zeeland, I am continually inspired by the changing colours of the water, the rhythm of the tides, and the beauty of oyster shells found along the shoreline. Through this collection, I hope to bring a small piece of that coastal atmosphere into your home.
