- Ze werden verzameld op de stranden van Zeeland in Nederland.
De uitzondering zijn Sint-Jakobsschelpen, die ik meestal in een viswinkel koop. - Later werden ze schoongemaakt en geozoniseerd om ongewenste geur te verwijderen.
- Daarna werden ze bedekt met een laag gessoprimer.
- Zodra de primer was opgedroogd, waren ze klaar om te worden geverfd met hoogwaardige acrylverf, waarvoor vaak 2-4 lagen nodig waren.
- De acryllagen waren bedekt met metallic waspasta.
- Ten slotte werden ze gelakt om de kleuren tientallen jaren te beschermen.

No. 3 Siedem plastrów drewna wiszących na gałęzi “Tajemniczy ogród” dekoracja ścienna
€ 150,00Dekoracja ścienna zawierająca 7 dużych i średnich plastrów drewna zawieszonych na prawdziwej gałęzi.
Plastry drewna zdobione są obustronnie techniką decoupage przy użyciu wysokiej jakości papieru ryżowego, 4 plastry są ręcznie malowane na odwrotnej stronie.
W zestawie znajduje się rustykalna drewniana gałązka.
Urocze, mistyczne ilustracje na papierze ryżowym naklejane na plastry drewna o średnicy 8-10 cm – wykonane w technice decoupage.
Nie jestem autorem tych ilustracji.
Ja jednak jestem pomysłodawcą i twórcą całej dekoracji i to ja namalowałam księżyce na odwrocie.
Krawędzie ozdobione są złotymi płatkami.
Klimat tej kolekcji ozdób jest vintage-rustykalny (celowo postarzany).
Stworzona z myślą o dzieciach instalacja będzie oryginalną ozdobą dla dziecka.
Ale może to być również interesujące dla dorosłego marzyciela, który wciąż lubi mistyczny świat baśni…

Nr. 3 Zeven plakjes hout hangend aan een tak “Secret Garden” wanddecoratie
€ 150,00Wanddecoratie bestaande uit 7 grote en middelgrote plakken hout opgehangen aan een echte tak.
De houtplakken zijn aan beide zijden gedecoreerd met behulp van de decoupage-techniek met behulp van premium rijstpapier, 4 plakjes zijn met de hand beschilderd aan de achterkant.
De set bestaat uit een rustieke houten tak.
Charmante, mystieke illustraties op rijstpapier gelijmd op houtschijfjes met een diameter van 8-10 cm – gemaakt in de decoupage-techniek.
Ik ben niet de auteur van deze illustraties.
Ik ben echter de bedenker en maker van de hele decoratie en ik heb de manen op de achterkant geschilderd.
De randen zijn versierd met bladgoud.
De sfeer van deze collectie decoraties is vintage-rustiek (bewust verouderd).
De installatie is gemaakt met kinderen in gedachten en zal een originele decoratie voor een kind zijn.
Maar het kan ook interessant zijn voor een volwassen dromer die nog steeds van de mystieke wereld van sprookjes houdt…
LET OP: Hoewel ik probeer foto’s in verschillende lichtbronnen op te nemen, kunnen de kleuren zoals je ze thuis bekijkt enigszins afwijken van de productafbeeldingen die ik heb gemaakt vanwege variaties in de resolutie van het computerscherm.

No. 1 “Secret Garden” – Seven double slices of wood hanging on a branchwall decoration
€ 150,00Wall decoration containing 7 large and medium slices of wood suspended on a real branch. The wood slices are decorated on both sides using the decoupage technique using premium rice paper, 4 slices are handpainted on the reverse side. The set includes a rustic wooden branch.
Charming, mystical illustrations on rice paper glued on wood slices with a diameter of 8-10 cm – made in the decoupage technique. I am not the author of these illustrations. However, I am the originator and creator of the entire decoration and I painted the moons on the reverse side.
The edges are decorated with gold leafs.
The atmosphere of this collection of decorations is vintage-rustic (deliberately aged).
Created with children in mind, the installation will be an original decoration for a child. But it may also be interesting for an adult dreamer who still likes the mystical world of fairy tales…

More about my process of painting these shells is as follows:
- They were collected on the beaches of Zeeland in the Netherlands. The exception are St Jacob scallops, which I usually buy in a fish shop.
- Later they were cleaned and ozonated to remove any unwanted odor.
- Then they were covered with a layer of gesso primer.
- Once the primer had dried, they were ready to be painted using high quality acrylic paints, often requiring 2-4 coats.
- The acrylic layers were covered with metallic wax paste.
- Finally, they were varnished to protect the colors for many decades.
